Trishuli River Rafting – Day Trip from Kathmandu/Pokhara | Himalayan Nature Treks

1 Day

The Trishuli River is Nepal’s most accessible white-water run, ideal for a one-day rafting trip between Kathmandu and Pokhara (or en-route to Chitwan). We launch at Charaudi and finish near Kuringhat, running a lively sequence of Class II–III waves most of the year, with punchier III+–IV lines in the monsoon for experienced paddlers. Expect about 3–4 hours on the water with scenic gorges, sandy beaches, and a riverside lunch.

From Kathmandu, Charaudi is roughly 80–85 km (allow around 3 hours by road); similar timing works from Pokhara depending on traffic. The Trishuli is also perfect as a midway adventure when transferring between cities. Our guides handle safety briefings, boat assignments, and all equipment; first-timers are very welcome outside peak monsoon. Best seasons are September–November and March–May for stable water and clear skies.
