Manaslu Circuit Trek (14 Days)| Larkya La 5,106 m & Remote Nubri

14 Days

The Manaslu Circuit Trek circles Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) through a restricted border region that feels wild, authentic, and surprisingly varied—from low river gorges to glacial valleys and the high Larkya La Pass (5,106 m). This 14-day version is paced for comfort and success, with two acclimatization days (Sama Gaun and Samdo), a conservative pass strategy, and a smooth jeep exit from Dharapani after the crossing.

Trails link stone hamlets, chortens, and ridgelines with immense views of Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Ngadi Chuli, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II. It’s teahouse-based throughout, but remains distinctly off the beaten path compared to busier classics. Because this is a restricted area, treks run with a licensed guide and the proper permits (handled by HNT). Ideal seasons are Mar–May and Sep–Nov for stable weather and crisp visibility. If you want a big Himalayan traverse with real cultural texture and one proud high pass, Manaslu is a perfect alternative to the Annapurna Circuit.
