Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour (8 Days) | Lumbini, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath & Namo Buddha

8 Days

A cultural tour focusing on Buddhist heritage sites.Walk the Buddha path across Nepal on this 8-day Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour. Begin in Kathmandu Valley with the great stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath, add a quiet visit to Kopan Monastery or Namo Buddha for meditation, then fly or drive south to Lumbini, the Buddha’s birthplace and one of Asia’s most important sacred landscapes. In Lumbini’s Sacred Garden you’ll see the Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and still pools where pilgrims circle in silence; in the Monastic Zone you’ll explore beautiful temples built by Buddhist communities from around the world.

The schedule balances unhurried darshan, guided heritage walks, and opportunities to sit in on a puja or short meditation session. Travel is vehicle-assisted with light walking most days, and hotels are chosen for comfort and proximity to the sites. Best seasons are spring Mar–May and autumn Sep–Nov for clear air and festival color, but the tour runs year round.
